Just a little message to all our Members.

I hope that you are all well and managing during this difficult time. I apologise for the slight lack of communication over the last few months. British Riding Clubs stopped all activities in March & it is only now that we are edging closer to being able to make a restart of some sort.

Rest assured that we are monitoring the situation and as soon as we are allowed we will do our best to provide some ridden activities within the guidelines for our members.

Meanwhile, in hopeful anticipation the grass at Castlefields will be cut and baled in the next week or so. I will then work out a rota to get the jumps out of their prolonged winter hibernation.

Some good news that happened during lockdown was that Iona Kirkpatrick managed to secure a grant payment from Kilgallioch Community Benefit Company. This allows our Riding Club to purchase a replacement storage container. Once restrictions allow we will aim to empty the very leaky container and replace it with a newer watertight one.
Huge thanks to Iona for all her work securing this grant.

Hope to see you all in the not too distant future.

Best Wishes

Joss Drummond
